Betty Gillespie, M.A., LMFT

Therapist

I was born and raised on the beautiful Central Coast of California, where I married and raised my family and currently still live.I received my B.S in Human Services Management and shortly after felt the call to pursue my master’s degree in counseling psychology.  I have seventeen years of experience in the field as a therapist working for the county in Mental and Behavioral Health, where I retired to develop my private practice.

My personal philosophy in therapy aligns with the late Psychologist, Carl Rogers who stated the importance of “Unconditional Positive Regard”, showing complete, non- judgmental support and acceptance of the person and valuing them inherently.

The first session for some might feel vulnerable, but I strive to provide a warm and relaxed environment for you to safely embrace whatever thoughts and feelings you may have. I look forward to seeing you!
